Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority - Vogue Magazine

Women's History Month is upon us and it was a delight to see the lovely ladies of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority - America's first African American sorority - featured in Vogue Magazine online.

In the American Women photo project curated by Susanne Shaheen and shot by photographer Mayan Toledano, you see beautiful images of AKA's sporting their pink and green proudly on the Spelman College campus - the first historically black college for women.

As the publication celebrates 125 years of being an authoritative voice in fashion, the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority is celebrating 109 years of leadership, service and sisterhood.
