Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority featured in Vogue Magazine

  Women's History Month is upon us and it was a delight to see the lovely ladies of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority - America's first African American sorority - featured in Vogue Magazine online. In the American Women photo project curated by Susanne Shaheen and shot by photographer Mayan Toledano, you see beautiful images of AKA's sporting their pink and green proudly on the Spelman College campus - the first historically black college for women.  As the publication celebrates 125 years of being an authoritative voice in fashion, the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority is celebrating 109 years of leadership, service and sisterhood.   Click HERE to read the full Vogue feature. Toting a 10 karat smile and a priceless personality to match, Tiffany Baker spends her days creating digital illustrations as a Senior Designer at CNN Money. On evenings and weekends, you can find this Pratt Institute graduate with her paint brushes creating stories on canvas that reflect on fond memories and the world around her. We were on hand for Tiffany's first solo art exhibit, Smilehood and Other Stories.
