Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority featured in Vogue Magazine

Women's History Month is upon us and it was a delight to see the lovely ladies of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority - America's first African American sorority - featured in Vogue Magazine online. In the American Women photo project curated by Susanne Shaheen and shot by photographer Mayan Toledano, you see beautiful images of AKA's sporting their pink and green proudly on the Spelman College campus - the first historically black college for women.  As the publication celebrates 125 years of being an authoritative voice in fashion, the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority is celebrating 109 years of leadership, service and sisterhood.   Click HERE to read the full Vogue feature. Her story-telling skills landed her a role on the MTV show, Greatest Party Story Ever, where she takes viewers on a hilarious journey, narrating her dating ups and downs as part of an animated reenactment. We were all smiles when we caught up with our favorite funny gal to learn a bit more about her beauty routine and how she takes time out for self-care behind the scenes. D.I.D. Nail Paint: What is the beauty or skincare product you can’t live without? Corlis DeLauren: I have tremendously oily skin – which I’ve heard will benefit me as I age, but...
